I was fortunate in that they both had separate services (electricity, water meter) and a proper firewall between the units.Here's a rough breakdown of costs:- fire inpsection report $800- council submissions (this can vary wildly) $3300- beers to keep things moving and costs down $240I'm fortunate in that the building inspector for the council is my friend's brother-in-law.

Fortunately we got lucky, a great team had our back with advice along the way, and other than the agent, the rest of her staff and the title company were good to work with.

I come from a Middle class family and know what it is like to bust your butt and still live paycheck to pay check, my mom is 60 and is still doing it where i have been fortunate to have great leaders & business fluent people in my 20’s who have impacted my life tremendously, they been mentoring me and guiding me into a future far greater than the one that has been repeated in my family much like many other families.

And I have no compunction about doing it (though fortunately I haven't had to so far).The dog peed on your floor, and left hair and dander that will require additional cleanup, if you want your place restored to its original condition.
