I am new to real estate investing as a part time venture.

I can understand your desire for a mentor when you venture into the unknown.

However, I'm green and I know it  but I look forward to growing as I venture upon this new endeavor.

It's been a fantastic first venture, and I hope to replicate, and grow.

They also have the most venture capital funding of any site at this time: $45.1 million.

Please help if you have any experience in a venture like this one.

There is a lot of activity going on down in Holy Cross but I am still afraid to venture into the lower 9th ward because I am not confident in the flood protection there.

My biggest hurdle will be coming up with money for my real estate ventures. 

You could either sell your current house, rent it out, or rent it out and later (after closing on your first time buyer property) refinance it to provide the equity to pursue further investments.Best wishes with your REI ventures.
