Food is very inexpensive and expats can more than comfortably "get by" wanting for nothing on $1400/mo this includes all expenses (gas, food, drinks, housing, utilities, phone, entertainment, etc.) 

We've never really entertained this as a realistic option because 1) I don't really like living here that much and 2) I'd feel like I'd essentially be throwing $ away into the underwater gap...This cash could also easily buy us another home we'd be comfortable living in.

Other than my job, my only time commitments are the gym and my girlfiend who I live with so I'm confident that I'll be able to devote the time.Having recently read Think and Grow Rich....I'm not really entertaining the idea of not being able to do it :D

I'm going to entertain the idea of flipping between buy and hold deals.
