I heard about bigger pockets from a military colleague while I was in the middle of house-hacking before I knew there was a name for it.

Today is my first day at bigger pockets and I was going through some posts and I felt so connected with many of the experiences as an owner, and investor in many different levels.  

I know that 3% rate is great but look at the bigger picture.

Moving out of state, moving closer to work, school or moving into a bigger home due to expanding family like "pregnant" and/or requiring additional rooms or larger GLA.If you purchase a 2-4 unit and try to purchase another 2-4 unit if they are not "Common" to the area you will have a hard time.

(I haven't joined yet) I have went to 1 of the bigger ones in Orlando but the primary was a guest speaker about his seminar.

I have started screening after the realtor screens them and tell the rules, setting expectations upfront.It is a shame that you feel this way and it's an even bigger shame if the PM/realtor really didn't care.

You'll have more work to put into it as it takes several months before being able to get a deal, but the margins will be bigger. 

Bigger issue is why?

I made a comment on Bigger Pockets about how they make you search through the forums, instead of doing this, and their answer was to simply say it wasn't their responsibility to provide such a service.
