@Kai SoremekunThe only way now to stop foreclosure would be to reinstate the loan or she files bankruptcyYou would not be able to buy it between now and then unless you paid off the loan but without title that’s a huge risk.In this instance I recommend doing nothing, you are not an attorney or financial advisor and have no relation to this women and if you gave advice or tried to help and then ended up buying the home it could come back to haunt you.

After going through the process for pre approval today with a Mortgage banker for home loans they said since my income is a national fellowship stipend it cannot be counted AND my secondary source of income that I’ve had for 4 months also CANNOT be counted.
