I came across a deal for 2 adjacent lots, one with a dilapidated house on it, just 10 minutes from Downtown Houston.I'm thinking about knocking it down, building a driveway down the middle and building 12 townhomes (6 on each side)(Very common in Houston).

Now more so than ever thinking outside the box in RE is important.Maybe a hand written letter, knocking on some doors, targeted flyers etc. you'd be surprised what you get when you open up and ask.

Vulcan7 is pretty popular and hard to beat.Honestly, going "old school" still works pretty damn well though.The phone book is a great option.I'm also very partial to door knocking as well, especially in "hot" areas.
