I would be terrified of letting a tenant use that in one of my rentals.

I have lived here for a little while now and am (candidly) terrified of being a buyer right now!

(I do not know any rich people or private investors btw)I am sort of terrified that when i borrow money that something goes wrong and i end up paying a big part of my paycheck to my depth for the next 20 years. i know there is always some risk but any tips would be helpful to minimize that.

I’m ready to get this ball rolling while also terrified about getting started.

I feel like that'd be a huge PITA given that oil isn't on-demand but delivered to fill the tank, so I'm guessing figuring out the average monthly cost and building that into the rent is best, but this is my first rental property and I'm terrified a tenant will take advantage of that and run the heat high all winter.

In PA, the post-inspection period happens like this:1) Buyer makes requests2) Seller responds or ignores3) Buyer can a) try to negotiate further, b) say "ok, I'll buy the house anyway", or c) say "Ok, I'm not buying the house" <-- Seller has no direct say in this decisionFrankly, I'd be terrified if I lived in a state where the seller can cancel the entire contract just bc you made a post-inspection request!!!

If you're a control freak like me it's absolutely terrifying to take a backseat to actively managing such an expensive asset (or liability if things go awry).
