I'm starting out in NY but I want to get my RE license too in CT with a different brokerage. Can your NY broker firm decline you for looking to hang your lic in different state and brokerage firm?

And the MS brokers test I was able to use my OR Brokers license to get a reciprocal test so when I went into the state office in Jackson to take the test I was surprised to see it was a total of 13 questions I got 11 right and passed :) It was more like studying for a driver's license :) So to keep my CA Brokers license I have to take CE every 4 years and its fairly robust it's about 40 hours of studying and passing the tests it's all online, but you do have to pass the tests. 

If a lender does a good job and can help build the business I'll reciprocate and help them build their business as well.

Mississippi has reciprocity so that state to get my broker license was a 16 questions test of which I got 13 write and only need I think 11 so I over trained for that one.. and that one took about 10 minutes..  

I'm a licensed Realtor in Illinois, so I have reciprocity in Florida, just haven't got around to taking the test yet.
