Do ya'll jump in the plane just to go to different places like on a husband and wife date for the evening.... or maybe for lunch....or to take in a play?

Throw in a round trip plane ticket, hotel, rental car, food, etc. and it doesn't take long before a short trip can cost you $2K if you're going back east.  

im planing to get a few deals started asap but i dont have capital and i am planing to find money partners to work with and split 50/50. any help/advice on that would be greatly appreciated.

I think using them for your food cart bizz could be a problem if you were challenged...I too had a home in BC and go there twice a year fishing.. and I fly my plane up to the Puget sound and Vancouver Island often during the summer for a quick day trip or over nighter..

Get on a plane or in the car and go see the property.

I get hijacked by Mexican drug cartel and put on an airplane and while I'm being slowly dissected while still alive and with no pain killers the plane crashes into an active volcano...

I'm currently looking at plane tickets to go hang out in Atlanta sometime this summer and I can literally search fares for an entire month for the cheapest because it doesn't matter when I go or how long I stay.

(private message if preferred) I'm always curious to hear the thoughts behind moving money out of one's primary market, particularly when the deals are small (SFR or duplex) and only accessible by plane if you need to visit the site.I've been resistant to do so myself over the past 20 years and have heard far more regrets than success.

If they have $30M to invest, they can afford a plane ticket to come visit you and see some of your properties.Btw, when you say "northern Africa," do you mean Nigeria?
