Personally, I love my NG tankless.  

19kyr 3 12k(36k) BUT cv says 30k 32k---Year 5 (60k).....BUT cash value says $55k(G)   $60(N-G)this will go on for 5 years!!!

Thankfully the rents more than cover our avg NG $296/winter month billing, (Oct 1st-May1st).

.), opening & replacing walls with LVL beams, HVAC installs, on-demand HW (elect & NG) etc etc.

All four services have their pros and cons, and the reserves/NG are a good option too.
