New Member from Concord NH

Greetings!

My name is Brendan and I was referred to this site by a friend of mine who is also my real estate agent.

I have just moved to Concord from Seattle WA after accepting a job as a Pilot in the NG. I am now looking for a house to buy and hope to get a multi family home which I could then rent out and have tenants. This will be just the first step of my plan to eventually gain financial independence. On the civilian side I work in the Social Work field, and with Aviation plus my rental properties, I have potential to do very well. Though I have the potential I have joined this site in order to learn and make sure I do things right. I have read a few books already such as "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" but I am trying to figure out where to go next. I am looking forward to this learning from this site in how to properly invest, and how to turn my small success into something that can set me up for the future.
