Yes, I share the same feelings and dont understand why the information and steps required is SO extensive! 

They were seeking secondary homes for their family that could be rented to help offset costs and didn't require an immediate or transferrable permit.

I suspect if someone contests could be longer.I also think once you go to mediation this will get worked out pretty quick mediators if you get a good one do a nice job putting these deals together..

Your job is to make sure they are covering what they need to cover for the property.

In some instances the estimate may be less important but rarely if ever do I not see a requirement for no appraisal unless the value is 4x the loan amount.

I've seen plumbers and builders stop hiring because all the "young" people start the job and then don't put in any effort or stop showing up.Figure out what you want to make hourly, then start telling everyone and their brother that you need work, how many hours you are available, etc. 

It would be a different story if I were endorsing a business that was not doing a good job.  

With people continually migrating from CA, more jobs moving here (Tesla Semitruck factory being built as I type this), I don't know how this gets solved. 

This is not even close to the documents required for a properly drafted loan.
