Don't be confrontational about it, just look into it, in depth.Confirm licensing: FYI, San Antonio's online database of licensed contractors has been out of date, with incorrect expiration dates, dates not showing expired when they were, etc every time I've called to crosscheck.

And I am really trying not to go over and confront this person!!
