While the pot smoke is not as bad as cigarettes it is not harmless either and something I don’t tolerate especially true if this is a multi.

As far as your concern that they can't afford the rent increase, do you know how much cigarettes cost?!!!

If they smoke be sure to put in that cigarette butts don't get thrown in the yard. 

He always got an extra pack of cigarettes, rolled up in his t-shirt sleeve.

We posted a 24 hour notice of entry yesterday and today my husband found the two cats as well as an ashtray full of cigarette butts (we have a no-pet/no-smoking policy).

She has cussed my manager out more than once; flushed stuff down the toilet causing a plumbing bill; & constantly leaves cigarette butts on the ground outside despite being a non-smoking property. 

VP's bad tenant burns common area flooring with cigarettes, scattered burn holes throughout.  

Cigarette burns can be just as damaging to carpets as pets, and the smell is not much better either.
