You couldn't patch things up?

I am selling a house in Albuquerque and the stucco company hired to patch up the stucco is saying I must redo the entire house due to an inferior job at a cost of 12,000-14,000.

One option would be to just patch things and rent it out.

I've painted paneling the same color as the other walls, without spackling, which tends to come loose.Also have removed paneling and if walls ok or needed a little patching, then paint.Or if walls are real bad then you can add 1/4 inch drywall, its about the same thickness as the old removed paneling and makes the walls look brand new and has the backing of the old plaster underneath.

The roof has been replaced about 7 years ago and recently patched earlier this year.

You can patch it, sand it, and repaint it easily.

like maybe a step by step on how to lets say patch a dry wall hole, or maybe laying tile, things that might save some folks some cash if they do it themselves?

While that work was being done, we continued to look for the best price to fix the foundation and patch the roof, in that order to avoid any rework.

So I patched the holes there with none other than duct tape, and turned on the kitchen faucet.

My opinion.I'm reminded of the old story about the guy who has a garden in his back-yard with a patch of sweet-corn.
