Actually I did have a Google voice phone number but recently it was disconnected because I haven't used it for over a year.

One night during autumn when the A/C is not needed (and is disconnected from the electric panel to reduce utility bills), I hear a noise of a machine or some engine running all night long, very similar to A/C.

The phone# on my seller lists always seems to be disconnected landlines.

Then I dropped him off at his mom's house.I also refunded his deposit less the utility reconnect fees that were due since he had one disconnected instead of having it transferred to me in an orderly fashion, despite the fact that there was damage in the unit such as a broken door where he'd locked himself out, and fire damage where it appeared charcoal spilled and the deck caught on fire, and more...He'd lived there several years and paid fine prior to his break up.I have more stories but mention this one since it's one I've already documented on BP.Other than just listening and talking to tenants who want/need someone to listen or talk with, when I go above and beyond it's either anonymously or in a professional/business sort of way. 

@Tim Woodbridge just to help you understand where the disconnect is, I will share some perspective. 

These vary more depending on the wind ratings, but they should be at least as good as what your local code calls for, and not rusted, beat up, disconnected, etc.- Main electrical connection. 

Maybe thats where your disconnect with your agent is

Some of the criteria I consider are:-Items of value have been removed-Utilities are disconnected-Neighbors have not seen activity at the house for several days-No return communication or communication that they have leftAgain, there is no need to go through the eviction process if they are gone

So went to Roanoke and what I found that most landlords are disconnected and best advertising sadly is Craigslist, although there is a good site for buyers/landlords http://www.reiofvirginia.com/ that regular meeting in Roanoke

I sense there is a disconnection between investors and agents because both parties do not understand each other as well as they should.
