Abandoned tenant or not responding? In Texas

Hi

I have a tenant that's over 60 days late. I've given him a notice. And he's now not at the property and not returning and taking my calls. His phone goes to voicemail which is not active

I've called him several times on his available numbers and he's not answering. I tried a different number and he hung up when he knew it was me

Do I need to go through formal eviction cost and process or can I throw his stuff out? Most of the stuff in his house is now outside so it looks like he was moving

You will need to proceed through whatever the legal eviction process is per the lease and in your state.  Look up the law...you may not need to incur the cost of an attorney to proceed.  Sorry you're having to deal with bad tenants.
