Just wondering if anyone in this community is also a day trader.

I wanted to say that I am an option trader myself who wasn't very successful and was failing for 8 months straight.

@Ryan SpearmanIf you are looking for something that could act as a store a value, but don't want to deal with physically owning a commodity, another option is digital assets, thought as of now you are limited to Bitcoin and ethereum as the major options. 

"Buy Bitcoin"Block chain technology may be life changing in the next decade, but bitcoin appears to be the next napster, netscape navigator, etc.

A huge issue right now in the market is the young amateur traders seeking millions so they buy options (either side) and influence thé market by pounding it with increased risk.  

Especially in the current environment where new traders on Robinhood are buying options willy-nilly, it's like taking candy from kids.

Noho west opened up recently with a new Trader Joe’s which is a 3 min drive from my place and there’s a Whole Foods that’s opening up later in the year which is a 5 min drive.

And with no point of reference like the US dollar, it would be hard to know how many silver coins, or what fraction of a bitcoin to charge someone.

Hence, currency traders are now likely baking in, that the U.S. dollar is inflating.)
