Personally, I supply them in my condo and four-plex precisely for this reason.

Below is a chart showing how much money it would require today to buy the same basket of goods you bought in 1990 for $50.Back to the mid west property.

I would be particularly interested in understanding more about how the taxation works in the USA with regards rental income, and more precisely would I be at an advantage/ disadvantage due to the fact that I would have no other employment income/ would not be resident in the USA.  

So an accurate average monthly for snow plow will never be precisely $50.

That's precisely what I'm worried about, things like insurance, etc.

I believe that his CapEx chart was a little high.. great reference tool!

That said, it is precisely where risk is misunderstood that it is often mis-priced, and that there are boatloads of $ to be made.
