If you are looking to "play TV" and do one of those buy it, paint it, move a wall, sell it 6 weeks later and make a 500% return - you are going to be hard pressed to find many of those opportunities.

I flew off the handle on them.I also filed a police report and told them who it was and that I wanted to press charges.

Sounds like SF, where you're lucky to get selected if you only give a full price offer with all the strings attached (contingencies / loan).Perhaps previously it was everyone puffing up real estate, but there has been a definite low supply of property, so one would be hard-pressed to point fingers this year. 

There are many ways to hide control, which may allow someone to bleed your dues for little or no effort, or to press a majority over the owner occupants. 

Doing so will help give you a reputation as a flipper who can be trusted to provide quality homes.Good luck and keep pressing forward.

This is a developing area of case law but they may need more than just a letter from a doctor depending on how far you wish to press the case.
