You want to know your neighborhood very well before buying.SW Atlanta (around the airport) is great for multiple strategies, including STRs.

The majority of our $ went into Chicago because it's a large & diverse market; we could make our hurdle rate (ROI) targets & the airports were key. 

Would LOVE to find a turnkey home/condo convenient to the airport.
