Overall It is hard to go wrong in Lakewood as it is popular with people in my age range (20-30s) with lots of nice restaurants and bars but make sure if you are looking on the South East side towards the Cleveland border you don't overpay, chances are you wont be able to rent for as much as the rest, assuming that's your goal.
