I also take pictures of there drivers license so that they don't misspell their names on application.

Compare that to the relative ease of getting downtown from East Durham which also has the Golden Belt and the some new restaurants and redevelopment along Angier/South Driver and it becomes hard to make the case for the NCCU area being better for appreciation over the next 2-10 years.Redevelopment is (probably) coming to NCCU neighborhoods.

I hope I don't have to take another driver's license type of test for that.

@Miles Stanley One thing to be careful about with smaller towns is the economic drivers and employers and how that affects the need for rental properties.

We could go to the Dept of Transportation and get copies of anybodies Drivers License.

The travel to the states that were open driving ADR and occupancy and the lowest interest rates in history were huge drivers for people to buy and make money hand over fist.I poll everyone I talk to and there is a decent mix of people that love resorts and hotels and people that will never stay in a hotel unless they can't help it.

@Billy Smith it is possible there are some folks unloading because of the tax law, but my feeling is that is not a big driver.

Hello BPsI’m currently house hacking my duplex in Arlington TX and ready for my next house hack next June but I want to leave my W2 (UPS Driver) and start my own company and have my own truck but the lender said if I do that I have to wait another 2 years to get approved for another loan.Any ideas?

You would need to spend more time there than at you other house and have that address on your drivers license and tax returns.
