Looking for some advise on lending

Hello BPs

I’m currently house hacking my duplex in Arlington TX and ready for my next house hack next June but I want to leave my W2 (UPS Driver) and start my own company and have my own truck but the lender said if I do that I have to wait another 2 years to get approved for another loan.

Any ideas?
