@Mike Cumbie Understood -- most (if not all) the transactions I've been involved with for similar situations, it's been included in the contract and the burden is on the seller like you mentioned.

Meaning additional load bearing beams/walls will need to be added to make up the difference for the hole cut in the floor ( if I understood you correctly).
