Once I figured it wasn't a good deal for me and started asking questions it might of offended them but I am trying to protect my money and make the best decision so I would say to others on here to watch out for those who are more worried about themselves than your money and think about everything before going through with anything.

So, in those cases, the agent will want to protect himself so that you don't go direct to the Seller to do a deal that you wouldn't have otherwise found without the agent.If you want to be able to work with other Realtors for various properties that each brings to you, then have your agreement either be short in term (30 days) OR specify that the agreement applies ONLY to deals that HE brings to you, and not all deals that you consider.
