A friend and I want to get into development after buying a land.

I agree that even being in consideration has helped some of the finalists as other firms and developers are looking harder at the cities and specific sites. 

lol) So we followed up with husband again the next day on the phone and he was a little grumpy and said that if he were to take our offer he wants nothing less than $500k and we shouldn't need more than a day to close/get the money (we planned on wholesaling the land to a developer).

I'm going to develop something to inform them of the review system and the difference from a hotel in my early communication.

Have you developed a scope of work with a contract so you have a good idea of how much you need?

I have a couple of questions about investing in land with potentials for future development and I appreciate your insights/advice;1.

I am currently a site supervisor for a site development and concrete company.

I am very interested in this HOA budgeting for remodeling the exterior with all the development going on in the area. 

They are actually loaning on *raw land* to be developed into a property through construction.

But of course you have to know what you're looking for.Something else I always do is look for the economic development committee in each city and see what they're up to.
