Hiking, fishing, hot springs, Bodie, Mono Lake, Mtn Biking, Yosemite, 4x4 roads (love the drive to Laurel Lakes (maybe the prettiest road in the southern half of state in early Fall) and the fishing). 

It seems to help when they know you are actually doing more than putting it on the multi list and waiting for the fish to bite.
