Buying preforeclosure is like trying to jump on a train pulling out of the station, picking up steam, going around a corner, where there is a cliff up ahead.

You can find small firms that do residential and dabble in some land listings or small mom and pop gas stations and things like that.Those are not the brokerages buying or selling the main line corporate quality properties trading in the millions to tens of millions in price.Every once in awhile they might get a property to sell but not on a consistent basis. 

I'm currently stationed in Hawaii with the army and trying to do any type of rehab from here would be difficult.

I'm planning on talking to the cops (whose station is 2 blocks away) about crime and drugs and whether they have any reports from this block.

I purchased my first home in Minneapolis while stationed there.  

My dad was in the Army, and he met my mom while he was stationed in Korea.  

If our next duty station makes sense my goal is to buy a multiplex.

I like to stay close to a Regional Rail station while keeping in mind which school district I'm buying into.  

Right off the interstate, tucked up in an industrial zone, and across the street from the Kearney Police station.

It is better to be close to either a train station or a main road.
