It's been hot for a while and the inventory squeeze along with the nationwide relocation shuffle happening are putting more pressure on the Salt Lake MSA as a whole, especially Salt Lake County.I think a fundamental retooling of how we think of offers is in order.

Additionally, the general population may only be aware of the most "popular" insurance companies (see: commercials), like, Allstate, State Farm, Nationwide, etc; however, there is a multitude of insurance companies out there; especially for rental types of policies and investment properties, because the Allstate's, State Farms, etc are much more risk adverse and prefer NOT to insure certain types of risks.

Every market is different, but I expect that in my market (Atlanta), we'll see price declines through Spring 2011, and then a plateau, and then gradual improvement through the next couple years.So, in terms of number of foreclosures in my area, I'm fairly certain 2010 will be the worst of it, and 2011 will see a leveling off.I'm sure there are other parts of the country that have further to fall after 2010, but I would bet that we'll see fewer nationwide foreclosures next year than we'll see this year (this year will get worse).
