Used to work for McKesson who has their specialty health HQ in the Woodlands which will likely never go away due to it's relation to Houston health care. 

If the current managers are indeed crappy they are not going to assist with the transition and you just need to rip the band aid off and move. 

To blame it for your health care costs is like blaming the fireman who comes to save you and falls short because he doesnt have a ladder or a hose for the fire itself.

You may be putting a band aid over the existing  wall paper when you skim coat it.

If they don't have the ability to keep them, pumping money into those deals is a band-aid-on-a-bullet-wound approach.

Whether it be battling the indians as we pushed our way westward, freeing ourselves from tyrrany with England and the French, battling our own political idealogies as in the civil war, fighting the spread of communism, aiding allies or protecting our interests we have been undaunted in our quest for growth and expansion.

If you're looking at large exchange-traded companies the market does a pretty good job of pricing assets and data can yield volatility, variance, etc. figures that would aid in establishing mathematical defintions of risk for a given asset.
