You said that you had found two groups to network with and I assume that includes the fabulous Durham REI group by Quentin D'Souza. 

I love what I do and I love knowing that I'm adding value to investors world wide who are interested in investing in Milwaukee.I want to hear from other agents / investors who are just starting out that have perfected the craft of managing 10+ investors who all have extremely unique investment parameters. 

He can often be found at local networking events (not much help for you in the Valley), but you can also find him online.

@Matthew Hime, my agent @Melanie McDaniel is very well networked with investors and every trade partner that investors work with in the area and is one of the most tenacious people I've ever worked with - she puts most all of us Navy folk to shame.

It may be a long shot, as it seems these “alternative strategies” are the hardest to network around.  

Considering returns are often non-linear and affect of compounding money, I think this approach would be more widely used.I have been exploring writing a program to do a program to do such an analysis.

Account ClosedI did put the word MOST in the post so I was not lumping all GC’s in the same basket and yes that goes for agents, brokers, lenders and just about any other field I have networked with. 

The majority of my deals come from my direct marketing to homeowners, wholesalers, or my network.
