I've kept my focus on the Cape and specifically Falmouth because I found I was stuck in analysis paralysis mode looking at a variety of markets. 2021 will be easily the best year for our Falmouth STR, and Cape rentals continue to be in high demand.

After living in survival mode for the last 5 years, we're finally back on track and able to save/invest more than a pittance each month.It feels like we're being thrown into the deep end with no training, going from budgeting down to the last dollar every month, occasionally forced to rely on the generosity of friends and family, to being responsible for dozens of units within such a short time.

One model is that the listing agency charges a flat fee whether the property sells or not, this may be $1,000, then the seller agrees to do all advertising, showing, answering inquiry questions, etc.
