'We know what we're doing, we own and manage a multitude of rental properties, you hired us to manage your property, please get out of our way so that we can make it cash-flow for you, protect your property and make you happy" --- any owners that are not okay with that and instead want or need to be involved in all aspects of our system or abandon their owner responsibilities to the property - we certainly stay away from.

I am making it my goal to try and show CW that they DO NOT want to own this property as there are soon to be abandoned New Construction homes.Any advice for making this more clear to them?

I’ve done a full renovation on a rental (was abandoned house) that was a hit for about 55/sq ft and did another abandoned historic home that we tried to pinch pennies on but keep nice for around 83/ sq ft.

In my experience:* The property is in run down, boarded up, abandon, etc... condition - Redemption chance is low.* Property still have mortgage AND the bid is high enough, the bank will go after the overbid and forego the redemption.* Occupied property has better chance for redemption.Tax sale buyer should consider both exit strategies for either case.Note: you can set the max bid for one particular property, but the auction crowd will determine the final price

Build and rent out a duplex on lot that my dad owns and will sign over to me whenever I'm readymain pros: the land is free and my family grew up in the neighborhood so I'm familiar with the areamain cons: the area isn't in the best shape, with many abandoned and poorly built/maintained houses surrounding my property.
