not sure of the legality in your area I sold a house which didn't appraise at the sale price So my Atty wrote up a contract for the difference, between appraisal and sale price, selling the furniture to the buyers with me holding the note and receiving monthly paymentsNot perfect but it saved the deal and I get a nice little monthly deposit into my bank account.
