What legal options do you have, if something goes wrong?

I will be asking for written clarification because it sounds like I was either given wrong advice or (more likely) misunderstood the advice given.Really appreciate the help.

Nothing was "wrong" with them per se, but they were not nearly as dedicated as I needed.

Bet, they will say: “I want to keep my house”.Do you all understand you are targeting the wrong people?

You should get some more estimates, but what you are really trying to do is to find someone who has a license and insurance to do it for the cheapest price and that will set off a chain of events that will never end.It's more likely that you bought the house with a wrong scope of work done because you don't have a GC and thought you could DIY it.

You won’t be able to lower the price if you find anything just are able to walk away if something is majorly wrong.
