I see 3D printed houses are gaining some traction since the cost of lumber's gone through the roof.

The supply side is being hurt as well by backlogs of orders for things such as lumber, windows, etc.

With the current code trying to build a triplex in that same spot can be challenging, not to mention the current cost of lumber.

Lumber prices alone have gone up 100% in just the last 3-4 months. 300% in a year.

Went to LL Flooring (used to be lumber liquidators)Want to install “LVT” in older home, about 500 sq ft sunroom and kitchen.

Lumber is... $764 per thousand board feet today, down from $1,670 about seven weeks ago.

Side note: yes, please ask me about the lumber market its my day job to understand that stuff!

You unload this property and avoid the inevitable added losses, or you can keep the property, thinking you have $1500 in it already and can't afford to walk away from it...and just add to it. 

We already have a lot and plan on building a house when lumber prices hopefully fall a bit more, so we can wait for a year or two. 

Just look at lumber...it has already wiped out its entire 2021 gains in two weeks.Here is how I would proceed if I were you.
