More properties but more debt. 

There is around 500k equity in the property. 150k-200k would get the property fully rented at top dollar with desirable tenants. 100k would get it to where I can rent all the units back out at fair reasonable market rents.

@David PopeYou probably inherited a 5.6% interest in a partnership which owns the property, as opposed to having a direct 5.6% ownership of the property.

At that point in time the market was still hot for properties at my price point in my buy box.

As an owner you're allowed to manage your own properties.

I would only encourage you to switch your property to an STR if you really want an STR.

Conventional guidelines occupancy requirements are that you’re able to occupy the property for some portion of the year, during the first year.

For example using and LLC to take revenues from properties Etc.

A lot of times you cannot view the property.
