It depends on what your primary motivation is.The bottom line is that whether or not you can sell your home to a legitimate and ethical wholesaler is completely dependent upon the asking price and the ARV of the property. 

I have put in a lot of time and effort into learning what it takes to accurately and ethically quote buyers and sellers on properties for assignments of contracts from seller to buyer (I know a lot of real estate agents feel that this walking a very thin line & many believe it's even illegal-also not sure what to make of that). 

The PM should have been ethical.

Seems like a lot of people lack good ethics and the integrity that you mentioned.

Ethics run the entire spectrum in real estate. 

Come up man, invest ethically like everyone else. 

Homeowners pay the price (packing everything up, preparing to move,...) and are then stuck with their own house when they were depending on you following your word to actually buy their house.Wholesaling is legal (state dependent) but include "Being Ethical" in the business plan.

This also means you will have to pay a higher rate and or cost/points due to it now being an investment property instead of just refinancing this property as a primary residence prior to leaving.This is a mortgage planning tip if you plan to bob and weave in and out of the mortgage lending products ethically while utilizing them to maximum efficiency.
