They get a realtor to come in and tell them "oh, this is nice....I feel confident listing this for $220k" but you have no idea if they got a dime over their initial investment or got more than the listing price.

If it doesn't require it, I wouldn't put a dime unless you have to.

I have not looked enough into them to determine the usefulness of their materials or the soundness of their companies.For me personally, though I am sure that there is money to made in network marketing especially around real estate investing, I am making a very respectable income doing what I am doing, and I love it.I would recommend with any possible business opportunity that you get all the facts you can without giving a dime and then weigh the risk/reward factor.

But SAVE it, don't nickel and dime it to death.

I won't spend a dime on training material, or classes until you go to your local real estate investment club.

If you're not finding profitable deals then STAY ON THE DIME.

However not one dime of it has to be your own money.

You don't need one single dime of your own money to buy a property.

Every dime that you pay towards that property is a part of the cost.

Magistrates won't give a landlord in my state a dime for any cleaning etc. that the landlord does but will accept invoices from maid service, carpet cleaning companies etc.
