People who smoke will track the odor indoors anyway and are also likely to smoke indoors when the weather turns bad.

After the moved out, the odor was strong.

We are remodeling another duplex where each side had dogs and the smell in there from dog urine is horrific, plus all of the subfloors under the carpets need to be sealed now with Kilz to block the odor.

I also dislike the odor of smoking, it gets all over everything.

I believe the AC service and Filters would have resolved the odor in the unit.

They were difficult about allowing repair access and everyone who came in recognized the odor. 

However, the odor can be glaringly present to non-smokers.

Odoban on the floor removed some of the odor.
