I work at Boeing, so I know the plans for the plant and the area. 

I think if the city were to repave the streets, fix all these jacked-up sidewalks, plant some trees, and do some general cleanups, the area would look a lot more inviting.

(they planted a LOT, but didn't think it would catch up this quickly to help supply). 

And of course, Florida in general is extremely tax friendly when it comes to state income tax AND property taxes.In regards to schools, south Tampa's “Plant High School '' district is one of the leading school systems in the country.Look for agents that align with your interest.

But there are lots of great opportunities here, and Colorado is gorgeous... pretty sure this is where we'll plant some roots and stay long-term.

Antoine-The reason South Tampa is hot is largely due to PLant HIgh School.

Furthermore, Intel is spending 20 Billion dollars to build two semiconductor plants, and many more great things presently and coming in the future.

If I plant a seed (i.e. buy a first property) in that second market they'll get a commission and likely more down the road because I always want a "big enough footprint" to justify visiting it.  

That'll help you be sure you're striving for the right things, plus it'll plant the seeds for those relationships to grow so that when you do have deals, they're already in place!

I updated the kitchens in my units, ripped out the carpet for hardwood floors and planted new grass in the side yard and that drove up value significantly.
