I believe all the wiring is separated already as there are separate panels, but would need to check.

If you don’t want to spend the coin on this type of inspection, I would just accept the up front cost, and find a local licensed electrician to upgrade the panel (check wiring and outlets) for you.

Has anyone done the analysis on solar panel systems for  their STRs?

The new window is larger so I tore off the wood paneling and have access now. 

If I can reduce the tax burden on this property, then i can potenially save 3k annually in taxI have been thinking about keeping it electric and get solar panels.

Consider whether the panels add or take away from the value of the property as well.

I was looking into the possibility of small solar panel arrays... not large solar farms.. to create some cash flow on land that has no working farms.

the door in the picture is not a solid wood door, the broken panel is just a thin veneer and it is a single glass door.there is no security or insulation with this doorthis door should have been replaced with a steel door long agomy recommendation is to change the door together with the frame, otherwise it is almost impossible to make the new door (called slab) be a perfect fit with the old wood frame that most likely already warped.

There is really no paint on the inside of it, as it is all paneling and wood cabinets.
