It started with a greeting, then into people sharing "success stories" of which only 2 were and the rest were people announcing things they're selling, then it was the time for members to announce things they have to sell (officially I suppose), then it was the REIA groups time to sell us the membership and going over all its benefits, then it was the main speaker to tell us all about his system and trying to sell that.

For example, I bought an annual membership to the local REIA and went to a RareBird meeting later that same week, and then questioned whether the REIA was the best fit (between the two) for my personal needs.Hindsight is 20/20 as they say, and you don't want to be the person who, once you educate yourself more, regrets dropping $30k (or whatever) to learn what you might have been able to learn for, say, $300.
