I would say that you should be prepared to put in a lot more maintenance work in comparison to a place like dakota county (apple valley, eagan, etc.)

Basically apples to oranges, but both can be great investment areas.The Bay Area is getting a high amount of pressure for RC, both in cities that already have it and cities that are considering it. 

To someone who invests in multi-family buildings, the apartment building will be more valuable.Really, that's like asking if you had an orange tree next to an apple tree, and both were prolific producers of fantastic fruit, which tree would be more valuable?  

FB, Zillow, Trulia etc etc .......and look....compare the units that are somewhat similar to yours...bedrooms, bath, location, condition etcA lot of the "services" just use some algorithm based on bedroom, bath and sq footage.... they don't account for condition and locationSo do your own "apples to apples" search

Airbnb is similar to having a large Apt complex, there will always be a few bad apples, given enough time you will come across them.

You are comparing apples to oranges in this situation.  

Apples to Volkswagens  trying to compare rates of a seller carry back private mortgage and a new origination from a bank or professional lender. private mortgages are generally written with higher interest rates.  

I specifically had them include the foundation, site-prep and utilities costs to make sure it was an apples to apples comparison and I was surprised by how low the estimate for cost per sqft was. 

Make sure to compare apples to apples (ie. similar square footage / rooms / etc.)Zillow rental properties in your area and look at the history.

There is a lot of PM software out there that integrates vacancy listing and makes it possible to post out a vacancy on dozens of site, and to accept online applications to vet people, and those systems provide for required data protection where e-mail does not.Systems, I can not stress the importance of systems and automation of as many process's as effectively possible, a benefit of which is there is zero emotions or feelings involved then as Jon Doe could very well be his real name, remember there is some poor kid out there with the name of Apple......
