Listed Rent would be between 3500-4200 per month depending on a local property management company strategy.We have assessed our budget and goals while in Europe and would not want to maintain a mortgage in USA (vacant) AND a rental payment in EU.further details: we are 3 years into the loan at 2.625% int, primary and only residence owned, house will need 2 new AC in next 2 years, water heater, and driveway repairs, would only rent with a property management company as we will NOT want to manage from abroad.

@Tim V.Recently I had the same issue but the 1st inspector was helping me but after he was relocated it the next inspector was a pain in the xxx... at the end the called a few more items making me to spend an extra 6k.

this is what my cpa said, "Your income above the limit which is less than 150K in order to take rental losses which again are limited" In your case, you are carrying forward the losses towards 2023 taxes as shown on page 5/95 of the return and as far as the income limit form 8582 page 83/95 has a detailed breakdown for you
