Seems reasonable that someone else could easily use tech to re-establish the lines for us instead of conducting a whole other pricey survey. 

Unless you see some heavy appreciation coming along, which it does not seem that way, why would you rent it out?

I plan to initially focus my search for an investment property in that area and would like to get a firm grasp on the management side of things before I dive in looking at properties.I have done a fair bit of Google-fu and can't seem to come up with any hits down that way.

The answers by my colleagues seem to be inconsistent, some say yes, some yes no, some say amend, some say Form 3115.

I always wonder because the more people say an area is great to invest in, it seems it will drive up supply of houses.
