Since my husband is a piano bar entertainer for a major cruise line (since 2004) and I have relatives in Australia, we travel worldwide too.

I agree with your sentiments completely, and that is my primary concern when entertaining the idea of investing out of state with turn key.

I think that would help for entertaining as well as bringing more natural light into the house.  

Today I live in a very new, nice, ultra modern building with an entertainment area, nice landscaping, water fountains , lawn area, security etc. etc.

The market here does not support cashflowing real estate but the density of people certainly must support cashflowing businesses to keep them moving around, fed, clothed and entertained.
