Everything has a learning curve, but I found that dealing with tenants is the thing that takes the longest to really learn, and can cost you the most money.With tenant relationships, just like any relationship, you need to master the art and the science of dealing with them.

I'm about to begin a postdoctoral fellowship sponsored by the National Science Foundation at Harvard University so I'll be moving to the Boston area in about a year.Given I'm moving I have been looking seriously into a house hack in Boston to jumpstart my solo investment portfolio (hopefully it grows into that).

Fascinating and scary to a new investor like me.
