Hopefully, I will find a niche in real estate in the near future, where I can dedicate myself full-time and create a mini-Trump size empire. 

I have since passed it on to my nephew to continue the family empire.

While we all know that the value is really in land, the improvements are pretty darned important - trailers get old and crappy way faster, and don't generally clean up as well as a stick-built house.b. 

The kicker is we only invested $34,000 in a down payment and about 10,000 in fix up and repairs since August of 2011.The key is to do a calculation of your return on equity and get that equity out to earn more cash flow and build your RE empire!!  

@Matthew Bailey, I like your approach of determining a long-term plan to understand how much capital you will need to raise in order to build your RE empire.

Hilton Head would also be great.FYI Folly Beach just announced restrictive STR regulations which would make about 50% of the STRs illegal in a year when the new permitting process is fully in play.I saw some in SC but is it best by beaches or a bit in land ok too for str

Anyone aware of a similar tool at a similar price (19.95/month) that would provide reports for Inland Empire, CA (Corona, Riverside, etc.)?
